I had the same thing happen but for my Life Coach ad on Craiglist. I was contacted by Rev Richard.
Here are the communications. I hope someone reads these posts before they fall for this sort of thing.
Good day to you and I hope you are doing good?. I would want to know if you have slots to accommodate my son for lesson 2 to 3 times a week as well as letting me know your Area of Expertize/Specialization.

Am very happy to read from you and i will be so great full if everything can work out fine as planned.We live in England(UK) but Me and Steven will arrive to your area on next week.Am coming on a missionary course which is sponsored by Environmental Protection Agency in united state and some local companies, And they are the ones responsible for all Expenses including the lesson fees so they will be sending you a cashier check for the tutor.The contract will be just for 3 weeks so my Son (Steven) will be coming for the lesson while am at work he is (15yrs old) and also you don't have to worry concerning how he will be Coming to the lesson location because i have already made all necessary arrangement for all his needs in fact i have negotiate with a Cab Company that will provide him the Cab and driver that will be driving him to the lesson and driving him back home after the lesson . So i will want you to get back to me with the total charges for the 1hr in 3 days a week for 4 weeks.
YOU WILL HAVE TO EMAIL ME BACK ALL THIS INFORMATION SO THAT I CAN SEND IT TO THE E.P.A SO THAT I'LL ARRANGE FOR THE PAYMENT ASAP.

Same thing happened to me. I post on Craigslist periodically to advertise my music lessons studio. Luckily I stumbled across this thread when I became a bit suspicious. I figured if he really worked for UNICEF he'd be in some article somewhere online about his ministries. And I found all this! I'd copy the email but it's the same old Rev. Tommy Tossi and his son Steven looking to expand his mind during 3 weekly hour long lessons. It's pretty terrible that he's claiming to be a missionary working for UNICEF.... I wonder what that organization would feel about this. What I want to know is what the scam is exactly? I saw earlier someone on here received a check for $4000, but they didn't say what they did with it. Anyway, I didn't give him any info that isn't on my website, so I hope I'm not in danger... Anyway, since he's probably in a hole in Africa somewhere I doubt the scammer will ever be punished, but I guess it's good to spread the word
