For the safest (clean) prints, just after the cap spreads & the veil begins to tear away.If it is a very clean enviro, go out a bit longer, so the caps spread wide & you get bigger prints.

So long as they can be made sterile, you can. My foaf has seen folks use a bird feeding syringe w/plastic tip. Lid holes need to be a bit bigger. 6T

It is. Another (alc swabbed & allowed to evap dry) layer is placed over the print & the two are heat sealed togather.Those are give away type prints.

Pro quality go on clear projection (tranparent) plastic sheets. Box of 100 sheets (8.5 X 11) can be had at most office depot, max or supply places for $15. That is enough to make 200 prints, when doubled & taped togather with transpore tape.
