Laetiporus sulphureus / UID's / More Pictures from today

Hello all! Took just a quick hike today, wanted a cig soo bad and just had to get out and do something.

1.)Laetiporus cincinnatus Laetiporus sulphureus (thanks vjp)!



2.)UID / Ramaria suecica? Soo many look alikes


3.) UID (Entoloma griseum)/found on ground around leaf litter / smooth light brown cap with darker brown ringed edges in mature specimens / creamy gills with pink spores / short gills / attached to stem / very thick spore print / stuffed stem


4.) UID (Gymnopus sp.)/ found growing on ground hard wood / light brown-orange cap / convex cap / milk white gills, crowded, short / white ring around edge of cap / light brown stem to white near annex /


All help appreciated.

all your id are right inmy  opinion , not sure what ramaria is that either  maybe ramariopsis since is in wood  maybe very bitter  eat some next time and spitt out  to taste it.

Will possibly give that a try.
Looking to try out an edible of the coral fungi for my next gourmet mushroom.

1 looks like it has a yellow pore surface? If so than its Laetiporus sulphureus

Although i did not get a shot of the pore surface, i do remember it being yellow and can see it partially in some of the folds.

The stem is the wrong color/texture for that taxon.  Maybe another Gymnopus or maybe something closer to Tricholoma.

i fed alan  some rare ramaria the other day he do ok , all ramaria in mexico are edible unless bitter ones,  but i have eat then one that are slight bitter and do ok , maybe iam more tolerable
maybe we should ask alan
