How important is it that spore prints be taken in a sterile environment?

The teks most people use for printing don't seem very clean at all.

How come their prints aren't dirty as hell and don't result in contaminated jars?

VERY! Make a glove box. They are really cheap to make and the supplies can be bought at Wal-Mart. Some yellow gloves found in the mop section and medium size tubber ware. Think about it - if your syringe is contaminated then all your work will be for nothing. I built my box for a little over 4 dollars.

if you got pics .it needs that sterility.but be sure to be clean when you want to sent them for trade

Dirty prints are the cause of contaminated syringes, liquid cultures & spawn jars.

If your prints are sh*t, ya about got nada. Unless you want to go to agar & isolate a clean culture. Or, blend an invitro grown shroom & use that to innoc spawn jars with.
