Thor's right.

If an automated system were to be scripted by one of our tech admins (calling 3D and matts... 3D and matts to the front desk please :wink:

), that would be great -- but I'd say a good 30-50 posts a day do not get approved in ODD and it would take a damn long time for the mods/admins to bring up the PM screen, fill in the topic, the thread name, and the notice of declination for each one.

You need not worry about posts being "lost" either. If you were returned to the thread after clicking submit, fear not.. we got it :cool:

maybe it's a glitch or maybe one of the 'approvers' doesn't like me :smirk:

but here's one of my examples.
in the Shwag vs. Kind topic in ODD, when the topic was still only a few replies long, i replied with something along the lines of, "if you can't decide, instead of buying a quarter of blueberry dank or an ounce of shwag, buy an eighth of dank and a half ounce of shwag."
i don't think anything was to obscene about that. big deal though.

I agree, I don't see anything wrong with that post.

I explained to Madtowntripper in response to a pm from him that I deleted his post by mistake, unfortunately this does happen on occasion and there is no un-delete button to click on. I think that since I screwed up (i was a bit under the weather)
it's possible that other mods may also make an occasional boo boo. I spend a good deal of my time reading posts and I try to do the best job possible but I'm far from perfect.

Yeah, fully moderated O.D.D was Hell. Fortunately the O.D.D regulars now tend to be very clear in their rejection and reporting of irresponsible posting, so that it can be approached as a regular forum even though subject matter is often intense.
