Syring contents resemble live culture

This is a P. Mexicana syringe from a vendor, wont say which one. Is that a live culture I see in there?

Obviously. I have never seen that before, I don't use syringes very often and if I do, apparently I don' t keep them long enough to germinate in a nonnutritive solution.

So if you knew what it was why did you ask?  I gave my diagnosis based on a first post asking if it is a "live culture."  Sorry for answering your question.

As the other poster noted, those are just germinated spores.  No need for alarm, happens ALL the time.

Water (which is used/sterilized to create spore solutions) is NOT non-nutritive.  Even distilled water has a small amount of ppm's that spores'll eventually find and germinate upon.

If anything, this occurrence is a positive thing.  Germinated spores are now, as noted, a live culture.  This'll reduce dramatically on germination time of substrate inoculated.

It was kind of like a "woah check this out". I didn't realize it was so common, I have never seen it before, and it can't be legal to ship. I guess my tone was off, my bad.

i am interested in forcing a syringe to do this by sucking up sterilized honey mixture for an LC so that the syringe is germinated before innoc.

i did one already and i THINK it went faster, but i didn't do a side-by-side to see...
