 Spore syringe question

I just recieved 4 syringes in the mail. The syringes came with needles, but they are not attached. (They are in sealed packs seperatly) Because the needles are not attatched, I was wondering if the plastic tip where the needles slide on to the syringe is going to be prone to contamination. (there is no cover on it) Every other syringes i've every gotten came with the needles in place so sterilization was as simple as heating the needle. Let me know.

What??? I asked if the platic tip of the needle was prone to contamination sine I recieved the syringes without needles attatched.

In a clean enviro, (alc swab hands first) - tear open the big end of the needle package without withdrawning the needle from the cover, pull cap off syringe & twist the needle attatchment part onto the syringe. Then pull off needle cover when you are about to use the syringe.

No, it wont be. Just attach the tip to the needle, wrap it in foil, and follow the sterilization tek for syringes in the FAQ.

Wait, My fault... I meant to ask if the plastic tip of the Syringe was prone to contams because the needle isnt attatched. This is where the spores will exit the syringe.

Syringes made that way were made with an IV valve & the solution was drawn from a large container. Once drawn into the syringe, the tip is swabbed & capped.
That is about as clean as you can get.
If you are tweaky about it, pull the syringe tip cap off & alc swab the tip, before adding the needle.

Where exactly is the sterilization tek for syringes in the FAQ. I can't seem to find it.

Just wash old syringes out, rinse, wrap in tinfoil & PC 20 minutes.
If you don't have a PC? Push the plunger all the way in, then spray some lysol down the plunger tube, from the plunger end. Boil some water (rolling boil) & draw in into the syringe, squirt out & repeat several times.
Alc swab some tinfoil, wrap then up & store in a clean autoclave bag, or zip lock.

Isn't there a sterile plug in the end of the syringe, which twists out, then the steriile needle goes on ?

I have heard you can just boil water, pull water into the syringe and squeeze it out is enough to sterilzie it.

Guys....I had 2 syringes arrive in the mail a while back...luer slip....I hate those things....anyway they were not well packed and the needle, tips and all broke, I used a second set of syringes to draw the remaining inocculum out of the others and had used the same prep method 6T had suggested....both syringes were saved....

Not to beat this to death, but I'm to the point where I SIMPLY MUST KNOW..... my impression is that you got syringes that were ALREADY LOADED WITH SPORES IN SOLUTION......right? Because all of the answers you are getting are good, but I can see that some people think you got unloaded syringes, but others (like me) think you got loaded ones. I've seen loaded ones come from one particularly reputable vendor, always with the needles off, and it always APPEARS that there is nothing on the end of the syringe, but there IS a plug that twists out, and which you replace with the needle..... Otherwise, your solution would have spilled out during shipment. When you say you were afraid to dab the tip w alcohol for fear of killing spores, I again concluded that it was a loaded syringe, with spores that could in fact be killed. IF SO, I'm willing to bet it only APPEARS like there is nothing on the end.....but there IS in fact a plug.
So, are my deductions Sherlock Holmes-like, or am I just an idiot (only Bigj2 may reply the latter) ? And if a vendor DID send you loaded syringes with the needles off and no plug, don't ever buy from him again.
