nothing a good boot disk won't clear up if u don't mind losing the data on your hdd. look for the following if u don't mind piracy. u must run the second thing (vista7 loader) or your serial # will get caught. Microsoft.Windows.7.ULTIMATE.x64.Integrated.November.2009.OEM.DVD-BIE Vista7 Slic Ldr1.9.1

i've never used recovery disk, but if u have another pc, format a flash drive using unetbootin and u can boot ubuntu off the flash drive and use that to get the files from your hdd, or even just hook your hdd up to another pc if the other pc will give u permission to access the files.

Wait, are you asking if Windows Recovery is a virus? Your original post is riddled with typos.

dude if the recovery doesn't work, if the system repair doesn't work, then you can't even access safe mode, and you can't run a virus scan, a registry fix, anything.
if you want the files still, disconnect the hard drive, hook it up to another computer via usb connector to sata or ide whichever your drive is. back up the files, put the hard drive back into your computer back on the board. reboot, then boot to the cd drive, reinstall windows, reinstall drivers, put your files back on. if the hard drive is broken, you will need a new hard drive though

Have you tried pressing F8 and try booting the last know good configuration?
In my experience repair disk are worthless. The best way to get your machine to get the repair your computer utility to run is by inserting the DVD media used to launch a new install of windows, there is am option on the lower left/right side of the screen to start repairing the computer instead of installing the OS.
If the computer still has a the sticker Microsoft put on it with the product activation code on it, I would download an iso for the version of Windows you have installed on the machine and install it on your computer by changing the boot order in the BIOS. All of your files should get saved in a folder on the c drive called windows.old.

Download Linux based Parted Magic .iso and burn it to CD using the slowest burn speed(need to use another PC if you can't get into Windows 7). Put a usb/flash memory stick in the PC and boot into Parted Magic. Once at the desktop you can mount the USB and your HDD that has Windows on it. There is a file viewer/manager with a GUI that will let you browse through all the content on that drive so browse to the folder(s) you want to save data from and copy/paste to the USB drive.
Once all of that is done you can feel free to take whatever steps you need to get Windows working normally. If you have a virus it's often best to just do a thorough wiping of the HDD and re-install Win 7. Make certain you can identify what you are infected with if at all possible. Worst case scenario is you have a rootkit and your boot record is infected. Simply re-installing won't get rid of your master boot record(MBR). You can rebuild the MBR from the recovery console using command line type stuff you'll need a reference/guide for, but it would probably be safer/easier to use Parted Magic to do a secure ATA erase. Search our forums and google for instructions on how to do this because there is a good chance HP has the BIOS set to prevent the HDD to do an ATA erase(which is something the drive itself does once initiated so it's independent of everything else).
