Help me, I'm in the middle of spawning

Alright so my original plan was to mix 2 jars of colonized birdseed with 8 quarts coir. But I opened one of the spawn jars and it has a very slight smell of bacteria, and I can see where the bacteria is, it's one spot the size of a small green pee. The rest of the jar is perfect. I have 2 extra jars, one of the 97% colonized, the other is like 99%, but kind of wispy, so I was wondering, if I use all my jars with the 8 quarts coir, so a 1:2 ratio, could I beat contams? Would you risk it? Like I said, I'm in the middle of this as I type, so I'd like all the help I can get, as quickly as possible. Thanks.

I am not very experienced, but from what I have read you absolutely should NOT mix any grain spawn with contams into a substrate. You don't want to risk the chance of ruining all 3 jars. If I were you I would dispose of that first jar and be very sure the other two don't contain any bacteria. If the grain looks greasy, throw it away!

Toss out the contam jar. It's trichoderma. You're putting a contam into a closed environment with no other competition besides the Cubensis (which will not beat it, no matter how much mycelium there is).
If that jar is contaminated, the others have a higher probability that they are also (though not definite). Give them a good solid smell and look close for any discrepancies. If you see something you're not sure of take a pic quick and put it up, I'll be on for a bit.

Haha, why do you say it's trich? I already said it's bacteria.
Anyway, I did it anyway 'cause I've had those jars for a while now and I'm just tired of them sitting around, and I had already pasteurized the coir. I don't really mind if it doesn't turn out well, I have plenty of coir and new jars colonizing. So I'll update this later.

big listener i see, if anything you could have chunked out a portion of that jar that had the trich spot, and spawned with the rest, but the major flaw in this plan is hurrying, this is a measure twice cut once trade, precision and acuracy man... improv is something that should be checked with history if theirs any hope for success.

My best noobie guess would be chuck the contaminated jar.

why even ask
I am new to this too..but I was under the impression green was mold spores..bacteria is a sweet/sour smell, but unless you mean the wbs is like gooey/slimey/fermented, I am not sure what you are seeing is bacteria.
Either way.. what's done is done.
Post up pictures how it turns out! Anxious to see.

Let me repeat myself for the third time. It's bacteria. I said the spot was about the SIZE of a green pee. I never said what color it was.

I asked to get peoples opinions, but I was gonna do it regardless. I removed the spot of bacteria.

Your right, green is mold spores, but it's not green. I can't post pictures, but I'll definitely let y'all know what happens.
Honestly, you guys are right for telling me to get rid of the contamed jar. If I thought someone didn't know very well what they were doing, I would tell them the same thing. But the thing is, I have a few grows under my belt, and have done quite a bit of research. I did this knowing there's a good chance it'll fail. I don't think I'm special, I don't think I'm contam proof, I just don't mind if it doesn't work out. I'd rather see it not work, than wonder if it could have. So, thanks for the replies guys, I'll update you.

Bacteria in a pasteurized sub? lol.
Pasteurization doesn't kill bacteria. The bacteria will fend off mold spores and keep them from germinating. Trich spores die around 120F, so if you got the core temp anywhere near 160-180 it shouldn't be trich.
For pasteurization I use 2 thermometers. One in the center of a jar, and one in the water. Neither goes above 170ish. I find it's hard to measure temp if you only measure the water.

Sorry, forgot to update. It was almost done colonizing, then got cobweb. I misted with hydrogen peroxide a few times, and got rid of the cobweb. Then it got trich. I live in the city and don't really have a nice outdoor place to put contaminated subs, so I just put the tray in the storage area in my garage, covered with another tray, and hoped for the best. I planned on misting and fanning it, but forgot about it most of the time, and when I remembered it, I was too lazy. It dried out and has been thrown away. Lame. But I did learn that what I did was fine. The problems I had had nothing to do with bacteria, and it was 80% colonized before contams hit, so I'm certain everything would have turned out well if it wasn't for the trich.

I gave bad information there. I was corrected on it sometime after that post. Core temp should not be 160-180, more like 140-155.
