I didn't like them.

They take too long to colonize.

Hehe, my dog, which is a lazy ass dog loved them.

3 out of the 4 colonized quickly for my dog and the yeilds were good.

I'm hearing good things about the sclerotia bags, my dog is eager to check those out.

God my dog is a drug addict

Dont bother as long as you have a decent pot with a good tight lid and are clean you should be able to pull off the PF TEK with out any problems.Unless you are talking about the sclerotia bags that Thor mentioned in which case by all means get one and let all know how it goes.

The biggest problem in my opinion with the bags is that you really cant "see" what is going on at every stage of growth and will therefore never learn exactly how they grow. And if you are ever going to be self reliant (and I think anyone who is interested in this stuff should be) your going to need to understand every step in the growing process.

After all god knows when they will make it illegal to even speak of cultivating illegal "drugs".

I am extemely new to this and I have yet to even see a single contam...Knock on wood.

If your just starting off....use the PF tek...its almost fail proof...i've heard of bags never completely colonizing....maybe because of poor sterilization...theyre goods b/c there is very little work to do...and require almost no space...but actually doing it yourself is the fun part....

The alley cat told me the bags have to be mixed up after they start growing for complete colonization to occur. The alley cat also said they work great for him. he especially like the "stealth mode tek" that can be used with them.

My hampster's bags are working out pretty well. As long as he doesn't mind waiting 3 weeks for compolete colonization, and doesn't mind spending the money, they work good for him.
