I've done a poll on this before, but cheese is a huge part of my life and i think it needs to be redone. I go to the grocery store and buy 5 things of cheese, thats it. Ok here goes:!

Without a doubt, Muenster. Its good cold or melted over your favorite sandwich. Has great texture. Its got a nice mellow flavor, not too sharp.

Muenster cheese is definately the bomb...Although I very mucho like Feta, and real mild Cheddar too...

Cheese is AWESOME. I think it may be the most diverse foodstuff. Wine is up there but cheese, i think, tops it. It's hard to pick one. It seems I always find a new favorite. Caciotta cheese is my current favorite. It's italian made from ewe's milk. Very smooth, fairly soft, excellent flavor. I have never found a cheese I didn't like. I worked at a health food store that had an impressive cheese selection. Some 400+ varieties! Needless to say I tried to get as much input as possible on what they put out to sample.

mailing cheese is an expensive venture! there are places on the web you can order cheese but shipping easily costs 3 times as much as the product. there's a few nifty cheese shops in western NC that I find all this sort of goodness at. I found a really good store in atlanta, GA as well. generally, a decent cheese shop can order pretty much anything you can think of.

My favorite cheese is the kind that my parents took back with 'em from Italy, but I can never remember the name of it, though it isn't on the list there.

i was watching this discovery show once..it was about insects that you can't see with your naked eye and stuff. then, the guy started talking about cheddar cheese and how it's ALWAYS crawling with these little mites...and you eat them. they showed a macro-sized video of it all too.
also, i think that cheese in a fuckin can is the nastiest...
