Since when did feeble minded elderly become "the man"?

It's because they all hoard their money and bury it in weird places or hide it in the walls. They are keeping our economy down by not spending it or giving it away to family.

Damn secretly rich old people.  :superiority:

Most old people aren't rich.  It's just plain heartless to scam the elderly who have a limited income and are most likely too old to start working again to recover from a financial setback.

If someone needs to be scammed, at least scam a childless 20-something year-old; they can much more easily recover from a financial loss than an 85 year old who is unable to work.

sounds like a good old fashioned grift to me. wouldn't want it to happen to me, but I like to see people still have some initiative, get-up-and-go, and some street smarts. GRIFT ON! Stick it to the man. Fleece rubes.

They are the rube, not "the man." It's sticking it to the man because the people up to this don't have to work at Exxon or Wal-mart. Lets face it, somebody is gonna fleece these dumb old people out of their cash, It might as well be someone who needs it instead of a multi million dollar corporation. And notice I said DUMB old people, since some old people are still crafty enough to make a couple investigatory phone calls before giving away their grandson's social security number or wiring a stranger $500 Bail money.

That said, I'm not really pro exploitation of the weak, but that is an interesting way to look at it.
