Saddam Hussein
    #1500254 - 04/28/03 11:07 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

They're looking for him, and when they find him, he's going to be arrested. My question is, for what? They haven't found any weapons yet, which would indicate to me that as of this point, it is Mr. Bush, not Mr. Hussein, who is the criminal.

Crimes against humanity. I'm sure there are many Iraqis who would love to put him on trial.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Do you think that there are many Iraqi's who would like to put Bush on trial for the same charge?

Probably, but Hussein has a much longer track record.  Don't you watch Southpark?  The man was in bed with Satan...

Indeed, I certainly think that anything Saddam did is 10X worse than Mr. Milosevic over there in the Balkans, and they're trying him as a war criminal.

On a side note, watch a clip or read a transcript of him being his own attorney sometime. If he had become a lawyer instead of a dictator, he'd have Johnny Cochran as his bitch....

If it is life that you feel you are missing I can tell you where to find it.  In the law courts, in business, in government.  There is nothing occurring in the streets. Nothing but a dumbshow composed of the helpless and the impotent.    -Cormac MacCarthy
