Ignorance is bliss.
    #1499907 - 04/28/03 04:47 AM (14 years, 5 days ago)

I wish I could go through life just side stepping all these import issues we think about every day which continue to excite us and let us down. I wish I could be a blind follower of a simple religion that fills most of my spiritual needs, but sadly I am a thinker. I dig deep into the realm of dark, and light becuase obviously these are the only two things which existed before existance. Light was the first energy form out of the darkness. But to live in darkness and never know light would be to know everything becuase nothing is everything, everything is nothing. Light reveals to much yet the dark shows to little. When you are standing in light you can see the dark, but when you are standing in the dark you can't see the light. This is why I wish to go into the dark.... To remove myself from nothing and go back into everything is key. But I need the key, and I have not found it yet. Hopefully my lifes journy is the key and slowly but surley I am turning the key to the door of truth.

Touche...And would the supreme understanding be Understanding that you are Ignorant? And, if you truly know this, are you really suffering?

don't forget your in a human body

i think thats seperate from any issues with ignorance vs. awareness... either way you still need to keep your body happy by just enjoying life. well.. you dont NEED to, but I don't know why you wouldn't

the idea of being too intellectual to enjoy things is an illusion
dont be a slave to interpreting a billion other people's freakin' mess theyve dropped off onto the world.

I believe that like pretty much everything is balanced, so understanding some things is better than not understanding or noticing them at times, and being blind to somethings or unaware of things can be better than understanding and noticing things at times too

I think its like when your really young you notice less and appreciate less but also you don't have to worry about the same amount of things and you don't analyze things to a great extent, so sometimes i really wish i was alot younger even though when i was younger i wished i was older

Also i think when you're feeling down and depressed that you want everything to be dark and invisible so you don't have to deal with it, and when you're feeling good and happy that you just want to see and understand more and go further
