That's similar indeed. I like prose when it doesn't quite make sense but seems to connect somewhere, makes a book a bit more of a trip.

"All religions will pass, but this will remain: simply sitting in a chair and looking in the distance."
As true for religions as it is about the sequence of moments that make up my own life. Is it really almost a decade ago I registered at the Shroomery as a lost 16-year-old looking for some truth in his shitty world? Goddamnit. I'm still looking, not that much closer but honestly a hell of a lot more comfortable with the chase This is a beautiful place, I need to start coming back here

Yea. I first came here somewhere around that age too. I was mostly a lurker and my rare posts were just to try and be part of the Shroomery and pretty stupid if you ask me . Don't know how much smarter they are now, but I'm guessing it couldn't be worse than back then .
This place was as big of a mind fuck as mushrooms were. I was actually skeptic and thought that this place was run by the government for a while. A Big Brotherish paranoia . I even got so paranoid that I started deleting all of my posts in my previous account. Like you I also believe I'm much less troubled and comfortable than I was back then. The Shroomery among other things has a lot to do with this IMO. That is what it's all about right? people trying to steer others towards the light (of course I'm right ). With the exception of trolls of course.
Anyway. I'm not leaving this place until I die.

Oh. I meant the posts I used to post. Hehe. Should have worded that better. Isn't it a part of me, if I am a part of it though?
