Around 3 months ago, maybe more, my galpal innoculated a bunch of half pint PF jars...after showing little growth she gave up, and put them aside, behind the computer monitor and use the incubator for quarts...To her surprise, she just looked and found Invitro pinning!...even though more than half the cakes arnt colonized. About 20 big pins between 2 half pints, and 5 others just starting with thick rhizomorphs. How surprising

they just wanted to be left alone....it's what every one should do during incubation....let them have their privacy and they will be happy and multiply....of course they were a little young to start a family in this case.....

IF those were done 3 months ago, there is something wrong...
Not to mention those look contaminated with all sorts of nasties. Maybe it's the pic, but that first one seems to have a case of trich and the second might have cobweb.
I would suggest not eating those, unless you are SURE they aren't contaminated.

Yeah..she's quite aware something was wrong...but doesnt know what. I sure dont think theyre contam'd tho.
Both smell like mushies with no sour or bad smells...and at both seem to have flourishing mycelium with rhizomorphic growth...she'll have a closer examination tho
