Patch Poacher.. what would you do (morality question)

This is just a hypothetical morality question:

You're walking through the forest looking for various fungi, suddenly you stumble upon a well manicured 10' x 4' bed of cubes.. wall to wall cubes.

Take them. It's public land. They don't belong to whoever cultivated them, they knew the risk they were running; they're fair game.

Patches don't belong to anyone unless they are on their private land. This is one of the reasons I make patches all over public land, to give others a better chance at finding some actives. And I guess to just spread them. I probably wouldn't take them all, but definitely enough for a good trip :wink:

I would take enough for a few good trips, but would leave a $10 bill and a thank you note in a zip-loc baggie. Put the baggie where the cultivator would find it, but the average Joe wouldn't notice.
