I already stated that the only argument for Android so far is USB input, so I was looking for some NEW material. And iOS is perfectly capable of accepting bluetooth keyboards and mice.

my netbook with full, unrestricted functionality, swappable batteries and hard drives, 10" screen and physical keyboard laughs at tablets.
The thing is, they seem convenient, but then in use they totally aren't.
I would go with one of these ages before a dumb Ipad. Way more functionality, actually useful- ludicrously rugged compared to your big glass sheet and brushed aluminium. Much more likely to survive the rigors of being a portable computer.
Mine was launched out of a car window at 55mph. It still functions perfectly with a new hard drive. Something inside is busted loose and shorts the monitor (turns it off until a reboot occurs) if you handle it while it's being used, but otherwise it survived the ordeal unscathed.

Personally I would never get a netbook or a tablet. The tiny keyboard is a deal breaker for me.

I just picked up a HP touchpad during their recent fire sale. The tablet which is normally 449 went down to 99 bucks. So far it has met my expectations and more. Its not as nice as an iPad but its still nice. I overclocked my processor to 1.7ghz and now its an amazing unit for 100 dollars.

You do know HP discontinued it's pad a month and a half after it's launch? No?

do know what a fire sale is don't you?
The tablet wasn't scrapped because it was a terrible product, it was scrapped because of bad marketing in an already brand dominated market, Now, granted, the webOS isn't as polished as it could be but the first update helped tons and after overclocking this thing is pretty fucking snappy.
also, there is a $1500 dollar bounty for the first person who creates a stable android os for it. Honestly I don't care if they get it or not, I like webos,Quote:
