Toothpick sized dried mushies ?
    #1496247 - 04/26/03 06:12 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

My powerbook just dried out a bunch of mushies , and after dried, the mushies are VERY tiny, like toothpick sized! cap/stem, everything is just really shriveled!

It really doesn't seem that effective, since it really doesn't seem like it'd contain much.

Is 2g's worth of toothpick sized mushies, still as effective as bigger sized dried mushies?

Really looks lame, having about 40 tiny sticks of mushies to eat, instead of a couple big ones

Thanks for any help.

The little guys should pack the same punch, gram per gram, as the big ones. Maybe even more if the small ones are aborts.

my powerbook doesn't think they're aborts .....

they grew just like normal, but just skinny & tall, and small capped

they just look so "weak"

of course ... my powerbook hasn't tried them yet :X

My galpal was shocked with her very first PF harvest...big shroomies turning into tooth picks. She found when eating an eighth of those...or the single mushroom which dried out to an eigth...the single mushroom was much more powerful..However, other people tripped very well off the toothpick ones...

i'm hoping that weight is all that matters.....

it just really looks weak because there's so many little toothpick mushies that make up an 1/8th now, very an 1/8 of normal sized dried mushies.

Check the humidity while they are growing, that might effect the size of your shrooms

There is just as much psilocybin in small mushrooms as in large ones. 2 grams is 2 grams, whether it's five small ones equaling 2 grams or one bad boy weighing 2 grams, it's all the same. I will tell you this...if you want bigger mushrooms move up to bulk substrate growing. I prefer this method myself. The idea behind bulk substrate growing is that there are more nutrients for the fruits. Try it out. You will like the results.
