hi
i am using perlite to keep humidity up, so my ventillation is limited. is it ok to change air inside every 2 day? or do they need airflow 27/7? or should i add a ventillator with like 0,5cfm and run it 24/7?
thanks, calavera

Back in the day I use to use perlite and put a humidifier on a timer to change the air that way it was done when I wasn?t home, I didn?t have to open the chamber and air could be changed without a drop in humidity.

If you can get your hands on a small computer fan (and rig it to plug into an outlet or run off a small battery) then you could simply build that into the side of your fruiting chamber (using a filter disk or tyvek to filter the incoming air).
They work wonderfully! But be careful not to electricute yourself!! :P

Gas exchange, whatever method you go with, is very important. With the right amount of fresh air, fruits will grow much faster and larger w/ fewer aborts. If your rh can take it, shoot for 8+ hrs a day w/ a pump. Edit: a humidifier in the mix is a good idea if you're using perlite.
