Why are second flushes so BIG?!
    #1493821 - 04/25/03 05:53 PM (13 years, 9 months ago)

Does anyone out there have a scientific explanation of why second, third flushes off casings produce much bigger, healthier mushrooms?

I notice the first flush produces many small-medium mushrooms while the second flush produces big ass motherfucker canon bombs...

Practice? I really don't know, but my guess is because the mycelium network has had more time to establish itself and can deliver more nutrients to support more fruit. To me it seems that fruit from the second flush is more potent as well.

Just another spore in the wind.

ARGH.... I'm waiting for my second flush right now and it's taking forever... I'm starting to worry.

Anything stated above is fictional roleplay dialog by the character that is Slapnut Rob, in no way representing the actions or beliefs of the man behind the keys.

hah, i have contradictory evidence to the hypothesis!

My first flush came in at 277g (wet), my second at 170g (wet again), and after that, the green monster paid a visit and the whole thing went kaputz

[I do not, nor have I or will I ever grow mushrooms; the mushrooms grow themselves]
