the more you wait the lower their viability.

erythoxylum seeds are usually kept fresh, still inside the berries they come from. if you dried yours or they were already dried chances of germination are small.

This information is commonly touted and may indeed be true for E. coca, but I was quite successful (8/14) in germinating 1 mo. old+ nearly dry Erythoxylum seeds (berries had been removed) of a non-coca/novo species.

in fact I said 'small' keeping them inside berries is just one of many ways to keep healthy embryos, which at last, is what really matters :growingweed:

Well, when i got them seeds i was more thinking about masticating the sacred leaves than thinking about the seeds

Normally the vendors keep the seeds jealously but the one that was my seller didnt it seem. It was a surprise to find em in the bag.

Thanks for the advice guys

Any planting tips? even If im sure that they wont grow

Keep them in damp sphagnum peat moss @80-85 F until you see them start to push out a root. Then plant root down in peat based potting mixed with some perlite. Don't plan to deep or the seedlings will die trying to push the seed and soil off. Keeping the seed coat moist and the environment humid helps the seedling push off the shell. Don't over water.
