I have to agree, that is the coolest cube EVER! Wish I could find (or grow) some that look like that!

Im not a big tatoo person, but I've been contemplating getting the "bad taxonomy kills" logo that was in mr mushrooms signature.. Although I may not. I already have one mushroom tattoo that I'm very very tired of explaining Is NOT an homage to magic mushrooms. I hate having to explain I am not a drughead, I think plants and mushrooms are the most incredible fascinating things I could dream of..

If I were to get any mushroom tattoo, without a doubt it'd have to be Ps. Semilanceatas. Not only because I think they are mysterious and awesome looking but also their nick name and why they were named "Liberty Caps"; "it signifies freedom and the pursuit of liberty." which we all want
Something like this but obviously just the Libs with the grass behind and interwening in between them.

This thread was moved from Mushroom Hunting and Identification.
Reason: This isn't really about Mushroom Hunting or Identification, so I'm moving it to the Pub, which seems a better match.
Good luck with your tattoo. Find somebody good to do it.

I've been thinking of getting a similar tattoo, but can't find an artist who can draw something aesthetically pleasing enough. I want either Psilocybe cyanescens or Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata, in multiple stages of morphology, with the substrate x-rayed so you can see the mycelium, and I want the rhizomorphs to spell out my name or something. Also the mushrooms need to be 3 dimensional and heavily detailed (differences in shade of color, translucent striate, different layers in the visible gills, and spots/lines running down the stipe). I don't know whyyyy I can't find an artist to whip that up.

I've got a few now, nothing like drawing up some of your own and getting them done (or doing them yourself!) My left leg will be all fungus within the next few years. I've got a friend that's got a spore print brand on his shoulder, it's pretty epic. I'll try and find a pic

I didn't mean the whole collection ! Just showing that some old-school illustration approaches can look very cool. Im also wanting to get some more work done which will include fungi, to go with the 50 hours of work I already have, which includes datura and blue lotus. Be nice to have an ethnobotanical library of illustrations on my skin

Looks sick as fuck I love the mycelium. How much did it end up costing ya?
-------------------- Having lived through an existence close to nature, one accepts the small and simple things as most important in life. Sun, wind, rain and snow. The sounds birds make, smells of fresh wild flowers. Love of all kinds, from friends and family, thy self and our neighbors. Beautiful sunrises to the darkest clouds dancing above in the sky. To forgive, learn, share and express. This is the only thing a man such as myself can ask for. What comes as the result is nothing short of the core of human existence, to truly live free in body and mind.
