Okay so I just checked on my fence spot... This was tossed out recently which is why it's not crumbled completely... I just finished crumbling it... Wanted to see how much had trich first... Did however get a couple little guys from it! Other patch I made yesterday is already showing tiny bits of myc running lmao! Couldn't snap a pic though because my cell phone is lame... Anyways pics!

Oh yes my friend it works haha! Those crumbled cakes aren't even covered so they're producing tiny fruits but it's better than had I tossed it to the garbage! Trich = mushrooms hahaha

it's actually not a bad idea to split up your outdoor patches. If one is somehow destroyed (etc) you would be better off having 3-4 other outdoor grows

That's the idea I've been running with thus far. The patch I picked from today has potato bugs ravaging it so yeah... Little buggers...

That really sucks. Any one know of any spray's, or poisons that could safely be used? I had a huge garden, aphid's destroyed it. Got them killed off then the deer moved in. I plan on dropping one this weekend, back strap fever....

You can find organic bug sprays that you can use on fruit and vegetable plants, i would assume you can use that on mushrooms too. Try looking on google to see what mushroom farmers use.

Harvested a bit more from the fence patch. Nothing worth pics. Same as yesterday's yield. Watered the patches. Covered new patch with 1/4 inch layer of grass clippings after thorough hydration. How long does it take using this method to see results generally?

I checked out your post Redbone. Pretty cool man keep up with finding all you can! Absorb all the knowledge you can!
The only update I have about the patch is that the fence has been producing roughly 30 grams wet daily and the patch I made has yet to produce anything but we got rain today so I have my fingers crossed.

So I never added poo to the mix BUT here are some nice clusters I pulled just now!
EDIT: Realized just now I should have put a quarter for size... Fail... Reasonably big though! Almost 3 full trays in the dehydrator and some HUGE caps on a couple of those!
