bubblers
    #1491905 - 04/25/03 01:38 AM (20 years, 11 months ago)

My friend batman setup his new 110 quart Fruiting chamber. He was wondering if two bubblers running full time would make enough humidity without having to use perlite. He doesnt mind using perlite but his new chamber is kinda big and perlite is kinda sloppy.

He has one of the bubblers installed and when he opens the lid he feels the humidity and a little warmth.

So what do you think?

it is just a tube in a jar or an air stone that pushes air into water and it bubbles up.

Depends on if you are doing cakes or casings.

If you are doing casings it will work with just the bubblers and misting.
I have done casings like this...works good.

You get bubblers from your pet store. They usually use them in aquariums. I bought 4 air stones for $1.99 at Wal-Mart along with 25ft of tubing for another $2.99.It's really cheap.

well i will probably be doing both. Batman only has room for two casing and three cakes in his fruiting chamber. I am doing the horse manure tek with BRF cakes.
