Ideas we sub con impose
    #1491971 - 04/25/03 04:18 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

I was just thinking about how odd it is when people feel inadiquate because of a front that others have put on. A simple example of what i'm trying to say is... Say Jimbo is going to Joes house and Joe makes sure to clean the house before hand. Jimbo sees the clean house and sub con thinks "I dont have my house this clean all the time, i dont have it together as much as this Joe". Jimbo will clean his house when they have Joe or any other person over just so they can look adiquate. This eventually leads to a sub con race for the cleanest house (Of course this is just a simple example, people getting big ass loans for cars they can't afford is another.) This is just stupid because really, the only part of the house that needs to be clean is the food. I find this sub con war trippy and I was just wandering what possible good this trait in humans could be?

Go through the orange yesterday

I watched intently for a while to both sides, infront of me and behind me.
I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP!
More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!

It sounsd good to me. Everybody thinks they're the worst so everybody competes to be better. Maybe what you should do is Make a fake car, a scare-car, and put it in your drive way. This would make everybody think they should match your car, and they do, but of course yours is just a fake car, so you take the money you saved not owning a car, and you buy jewels for their wives.

It is good only in that our dissatisfaction of self fuels our "evolution". However, the TV is making us dissatisfied with the wrong aspects of our self, and causes us want better looks, money, lazy luxuries and possesions. That's why I love coming to this forum. People value themselves and the spirituality in life.

You have to stop wanting and appreciate what you have to be satisfied. Why this is so hard to do, I don't know.

"well.. why not? I mean if anything's worth doing, it's worth doing right. THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM IN ACTION"
