Road Rash Vigilante 8
New graphics + multiplayer
--------------------
It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

Bushido Blade III.
They made two, and I loved it, but there was a fight between the publishers and the developers, and it split.

Damn skippy! With how beefy systems are now, a new jet set radio could be fucking intense....and maybe the grafitti creator would be easier to use >.>

The funniest part of it too was the terrible voice acting. The lines, "Where'd he go?" and "How'd he know?" were so outta context and poorly done that I almost pissed myself when I first watched those cut scenes.

at this point a game like that might be corny, they sure have ruined the ff series genre. honestly that game was pretty well wrapped up, do you think it really deserves a sequel? and it was pretty mysterious, a prequel would really ruin the atmosphere.
I made the mistake of wanting a duke nukem sequel after duke 3d
I can't quite agree that the FF series has been ruined, just to the extent that you have to pretend it's not FF. I quite enjoyed XIII, much more enjoyed XII, XI, doesn't count, and X was as masterful as the earlier ones...though we must remember X-2...
That said, I wouldn't trust modern Square with any remakes, but a sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi that did it justice would make my life.
Also, Okami, a waaaaaay underrated game, and incredible.

Well, he was kindda designed that way, since you can't speak for yourself, had to interact somehow.
Another one, 'Bully'. I thought it was great, a bit of a GTA clone, (a bit, I mean a lot), but stood alone and had a lot of potential and atmosphere that made it stand out. I think there was a sequel planed that was later canceled, it didn't sell all that well.
