fngbronco said: The only state I'm aware ephedra is legal in is Oregon. In fact the FDA withdrew it's bans on ephedra for the most part, though ephedrine (an alkaloid) is still regulated. It's a plant that grows naturally, and sure it can be broken down, but that's like telling a business that they're not smart for giving away floor cleaner because some determined soul is gonna make G8H or something. Maybe the next revolution could be sassafras seeds, though a hard working person could make M|)|\/|A with it, or the mimosa which DM7 could be extracted from. He's giving away seeds, not regulated alkaloids.
It is illegal in Oregon as well.
The FDA banned the further production of ephedrine. The existing supply is legal to buy, have, sell and take. However, there are some states that have banned the product: Idaho, Nebraska, Texas, Washington State, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Oregon.

I'm interested in getting some seeds if possible. I understand if I don't given I haven't traded with anyone here yet.
During the mimosa seed exchange, I bought some of my own seeds and gave em out to friends, and now have 10 growing. I love growing plants, bamboo being my favorite. Live in zone 5. If I get chosen, will definitely hold up on agreement to spread seeds to other members here.
I also have a cloning machine that I no longer use (don't grow MJ anymore) and would love to clone this plant a couple hundred times and give the sprouts away.

I would appreciate being considered. I've had an increasingly green thumb for the past year. Thanks.

What about the tea? Reading around, it seems to work. Mild wake up buzz doesn't sound too bad to me.

This plant it's around 1% ephedrine, right? Not bad when you are mass producing the plant, which is the whole initiative of this thread.

Pseudoephedrine is a diastereomer of ephedrine and is readily reduced into methamphetamine or oxidized into methcathinone.

I think another key point to growing ephedra sp is that they prefer arid environments. However they can be hardy to -10F to -40F which is pretty dang'd ol' impressive
