In a dream last night i innoculated a bunch of half p int jars with f+ strain, and watching them colonize. When i woke up i was left wondering... I have before made popcorn jars without innoculating them. Eventually sitting ont he shelf they began to develop fuzz on it... Cobweb? Anyways, these f+ jars that were innoculated in the dream showed signs of growth, and when 'done' it looked rather 'not done.' the mycelium was very thin, and there was alot of kernel showing compared to something like purto ricans. Is this the strain, or is it some sort of cobweb? Its happend on all the jars that were marked f+.

Open a jar and you should be able to tell if it is good or not by the smell.

Weak F+ mycelium can indeed look like cobweb... Thats how afoaf's are looking at the moment, but i am sure it is mycelium. His were also very recently innoculated. Sounds as if you are good to go. (If i understand you correctly.) Good luck

Do you think it gets thicker, or it would be ready is 100% of the cake is 'colonized' even though its not very thick

My F+ looked weak at the begining, and now its getting more thick/rhizomorphic.... So yeah, as the cake colonizes you will notice more "cube like" mycelium development. Dont worry, your good to go.  I hope.
