Sports injuries
    #14836948 - 07/28/11 03:30 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

I love the feeling of being battered after a baseball game. My hand and ankle are sprained. My legs and shoulders are sore from running, throwing, and hitting. I have to use heat pads and vibrating rehabilitation machines just to be able to walk tomorrow.

Its definitely motivated by some masculine drive within me to throw my body around, bruise and batter myself at the risk of injury for the chance to be the better competitor. I love every minute of it!

Those don't sound like baseball injuries.

for me baseball doesnt have enough team flow for me to enjoy it as much as say, football. both kinds. i like baseball, its just very individual, whereas one guy on a soccer field can change the whole game and make his team better, with baseball, you better hope your pitcher is that man, cos theres nothing you can do about most of the game really...

We play a different style where teams pitch to their own members, that way more emphasis is on batting efficiency and outfielding, which are my two favorite parts of the game.

We came back from an 11 point deficit to win it in OT tonight. We could not have done it without the efforts of every member, everyone had a pivotal role in the win. Our morale was in the dump cause they scored huge in the second inning but slowly we shut them out and came back. By the end of the game where we pulled a 15-15 OT inning we were so pumped up with energy; seriously an awesome feeling of team cohesion

I love football too man, in fact anything competitive is my kind of game

If I'm not bleeding by the end of a baseball game, I didn't get on base

I sprained my ankle in a soccer game about 8-9 weeks ago, and it is still sore and swollen.  It was a BAD sprain though, and only kept me off the soccer field for 4 weeks.  For the first week, my entire foot and calf was black and blue, and I couldn't fit into any of my shoes because it was so swollen!

The fire has many things to teach.
But so does the human experience.. which is like fire, sometimes you just need to stoke the coals and sometimes you just need to add a log or reposition the log matrix. But a well built fire will be much more self-sustaining than a poorly built one, and they all need love to grow. And don't fuck around or your might burn yourself. Must always respect the fire. - Shroomism
