Haven't heard so much of these, what's your favourites? I like Casey Jones, but would love to find some of these psychedelic jams I've heard so much about. And I'm too lazy too start listening trough everything.

Dark Star is a good song to start with. Then go get the album Infrared Roses. I first heard that while eating pot brownies and it got deep inside my brain.

Listen to Aoxomoxoa! this and Live/Dead. These are what turned me on to the Dead, Now I am a lifetime Deadhead. Aoxomoxoa fit perfectly to a trip i had the day before i first heard it, it's like it was the soundtrack to it or something, truley amazing.

Check the Dick's Pick's series and get something 1978 or eariler.

Like 12, 15, 18... look for 1969 stuff.

The thing with the Dead is it's not like one song or even a couple songs stuck together you have to hear the entire show to get a clue of what they are doing, or at the very least a set. The second set is usually the most psycedelic part of the show, check places like http://www.nugs.net or http://www.livedead.net or is .com? if you go to nugs they will have a links page that will give you plenty of other free music places.

Yeah, the dick's picks series is great. 16 is from 1969, has some of the firs pefromances of songs from "workingman's dead, and the last 2 discs are 1 continueous jam! It's truley incredible. 8 is good too, first set acoustic, second set electric, with great jams.
