I'd check some of the larger features out. Im out of Immersion oil so im not sure what i could do about spores, depends how big they are. There are more talented folks all over though.

Compare the mature gill color in your second picture to the specimen on the right here:

I wouldn't expect those gills to drop brown spores.

How long do you think it will be before the gyms pop up again? It has been raining for the last 2 or 3 days and we have had temperatures between 50-75 degrees and the humidity is at 91% right now. The spot that I found these was about 30-40 miles away from my house so I don't want to drive all that way for nothing. So question is do you think if I drive all that way up there that there will be more mushies? I don't want to waste my gas, time or money. Any help would be appreciated.

Your unknown looks like an Inocybe calamistrata to me. I've seen them before on old skidder paths through the woods. The blue base is what gives it away. I'll try to find a few pics I took last year if you're interested. Awesome finds on the lutes as well. Contrary to what many believe, there are active gym species in the PNW. Only the BLG are supposed to be inactive on the west coast. Awesome finds man, and congrats

You should put the "inocybe" up on Mushroom observer, hopefully Irene Anderson can put a name on it.
Cool finds.
I really like Inocybes for some odd reason, I don't know a whole lot about them, but they are really fun to look at under the scope.

It's hard to say. I would give it anywhere from 5-14 days depending on the weather. Maybe check back once a week or a bit more just for GP. Make a trip out of it. Sometimes when I want to check up on a mushroom patch, I try to plan a day around that area so it's not just drive, check patch, hunt for a few hours, drive home. Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you my friend you have been very helpful. I will gladly post more pictures when I find some more gym's.

Inocybe calamistrata due to the conifer habitat, scurfy stem and blue stains on the stem. Toxic.

paducahovoids said: did you spore-print those"inocybes"? They have chielocystidia(the edges of the gills are white)somthing I don't see mentioned with inocybe, but common in psilocybes
Inocybe always has crazy cheilocystidia.
The other mushrooms are Gymnopilus luteofolius.
