Finding Things On Shrooms
    #1470822 - 04/18/03 03:29 PM (21 years, 3 days ago)

Ok, hopefully I can explain this properly so you can understand how amazed I was by this....

About 7 years ago when I was still in school, our phys-ed class decided to go on this hiking and camping trip into what was know as the 'Brandon Hills'. And it was basically just that, hills. When you enter the hills onto the hiking paths there was these two logs in the ground that extended upwards, kinda like a gate in a sense, and the hiking paths began after this gate. Well, I had this little, metal cow. I found it somewhere a few days before, looked like something you would put on a key chain or something...anyways, at the gate where these logs were, one of the logs had a crack in it...well I decided to stick the cow in it and leave it there. No particular reason why...just wanted to I guess. So the weekend went on hiking and camping, and of course I had forgotten about the cow.

About 3 years later after that weekend, I took shrooms for the first time in my life, with two of my very good friends at the time. We thought it would be a wonderful idea to head to the Brandon Hills and be one with nature for my first experience. Well we took our shrooms, and proceeded to head out to the hills. When we parked in the lot just outside the 'gate' I started to feel the shrooms kicking it. We got out of the car, grabbed everything we needed and headed towards the gate of the paths. Walking towards the gate, I started to get a feeling, a wierd feeling, not really a bad feeling....but then I started to think, how familiar this all looked and realized that I've been here before. I walked up to the logs...looked at them, began to examine them and sure enough I found my cow there. Now was this just my memory? Which I don't really think it was because how would I remember something so insignifigant like that? Was it the shrooms making me more aware of my surroundings? Its really hard to explain the feeling that I had that day finding the cow. I know that after find that cow everything was all good, and I was really happy. I still have that cow to this day. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I'm sure it has something to do with the subconsiousness, but I wish there was a better explaination for things like this.

I see trees of green, psylocibe mushrooms too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world

Shrooms improve memory and highten your senses.

--------------------
What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

this is why people worship engraven images of cow-gods.
mushrooms see cows as their spiritual genisis, by eating them and absorbing their perceptual chemicals, you are brought into their world. indeed, the metal cow, and the memory of the cow may be entirely the conception of the fungal consiousness that is now a part of you.
i beleive mushrooms have consiousness, but not egos. ths is why we can learn so much from them, and why their ways are so alien to us.
maybe the metal cow diddnt exist before the mushrooms, maybe the memory is the product of your subconcious justifying what your awake-self KNOWS fundimentally on a self-fulfilling level to be impossible.

wa ha ha ha.

which is the delusion, the cow? or you?

I absolutely LOVE the interconnectedness between the past, present, and future that I experience while on mushrooms.... I think it was McKenna that said something like this: "The past and the future have an immediacy; a co-presence with the present that is not usually percieved without psychedelics"

If you did indeed leave that cow there, then I see how amazing that must have been  I don't know how many times during a trip I've noticed that I did something ALMOST AUTOMATICALLY before the trip, maybe even criticizing my own actions right afterwards, that turned out to come in handy or assist me or make me laugh or whatever. The synchronicities are taking over

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I do it alot when I'm tripping and I have heard of many other people doing it too, Picking up things and just keeping them and playing with them.  I don't know why this is exactly.  I have this picture of me with my "friend" that i found, this picture is so old, but still great.

I always like Thinking about the person that left it there, If they enjoyed it, how it got there... ect :smirk:

Go through the orange yesterday

I watched intently for a while to both sides, infront of me and behind me.
I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP!
More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!
