Lah fucking durr.

Quote:

And I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime. And I can prove it and I could spend the next 3 hours giving you examples of all of us in this market place that are frightened to death about all the new regulations, our healthcare costs escalate, regulations coming from left and right. A President that seems, that keeps using that word redistribution. Well, my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration. And it makes you slow down and not invest your money. Everybody complains about how much money is on the side in America.

You bet and until we change the tempo and the conversation from Washington, it's not going to change. And those of us who have business opportunities and the capital to do it are going to sit in fear of the President. And a lot of people don't want to say that. They'll say, God, don't be attacking Obama. Well, this is Obama's deal and it's Obama that's responsible for this fear in America.

The guy keeps making speeches about redistribution and maybe we ought to do something to businesses that don't invest, their holding too much money. We haven't heard that kind of talk except from pure socialists. Everybody's afraid of the government and there's no need soft peddling it, it's the truth. It is the truth. And that's true of Democratic businessman and Republican businessman, and I am a Democratic businessman and I support Harry Reid. I support Democrats and Republicans. And I'm telling you that the business community in this company is frightened to death of the weird political philosophy of the President of the United States. And until he's gone, everybody's going to be sitting on their thumbs.

The only way for Obama to stimulate the enormous private sector job growth needed to ensure Obama’s reelection is for Obama to announce he is not running for reelection, which would unleash a wave of investment and economic activity not seen since the Great Depression.

These are self evident truths.  The administration has not only babbled ceaselessly that making money is evil but has done all it could to fuck every business enterprise there is, from whining that companies wasted money on junkets to Las Vegas to demonizing people who fly private jets to utterly cornholing every business owner in the country with his unfunded health insurance mandate.  Everybody is scared shitless that this turd will still be in the punchbowl after January 2013 that they just will not hire.  I sure as shit wouldn't.  I'm lucky.  I don't fucking have to but all you children who can't get any fucking jobs really need to consider just why businesses aren't hiring.  Obama is by far the single greatest impediment to business this nation has ever seen

I really hope the country can turn itself around. If not I will probably end up moving to Switzerland or Poland.

The country is not going to "turn itself around".  We have to do it.  The first order of business is getting rid of the retard in the White House.

I won't even take the time to vote. My say is not substantial enough to warrant the line imo.

Politicians and corporations spend a lot of money trying to convince you because they think your say is substantial enough.

They try to convince masses of people. They don't care about a single individual enough to spare any time on them because it isn't substantial enough.

Masses of people are made up of individuals.  They do care about an individual, and they do spend time and money on you for your vote.  Maybe your vote isnt as influential as you would like it to be, but it is influential enough for them to spend time and money trying to convince you.

They care about convincing multiple people at once. They wouldn't spend any time towards convincing just me. The incredibly tiny bit of say that I can exercise does not warrant the time it takes to vote imo.

Time it takes to vote?   Man, your time must be super valuable.  It takes me about thirty seconds to fill in a bubble and lick an envelope.  I spend that much time rinsing out my cans before recycling them.

But in the end, Im fine that you dont vote.  It makes my vote just a little bit more consequential, plus I doubt you would vote for anything I want.

And yet you have over 10k posts.  You must take posting very seriously, to forgo voting and can rinsing so you have enough time for posting.

My life is not that important, I have few duties to attend to and can easily spend 30 secs every 4 years on voting.  Its a small amount of power, but probably the most power I will ever have and more power than most humans could hope to have.

I thought I was under 2k posts but apparently I am mistaken.

Also, everything I do is for enjoyment, and posting here is much more fun than filling out a ballot for people who will only side with me on a few trivial issues if I am lucky.

My time is too valuable for either of those mostly meaningless activities.

Almost nap time.
