I Recently took mushrooms about 2 weeks ago.
My friend and i live in Northern CA, 1 hour from tahoe.

Together we have been wanting to hunt daily, and nightly......and Grow them.
im sure there has been a post such as this before.

im only curious as to, what kind of mushrooms i can expect to find more often, and is there a lot of deadly mushrooms?? in my area??
Can anyone post pics of goods/bads that are in my area....this will help my research.

Erm, I know you're new here, but, double posting (Posting the same question twice in a forum) isin't very cool

Check your other post.

Also, I didn't know in your other post that you were referring to just halluncinogenic mushrooms. Oh well.

I live in your region, and the only hallucinogenics Ive found worth collecting are Panaeolus subbalteatus. I hear that cyanescens will grow in my area, but last winter wasn't cold/rainy enough  I think for them.

You probably wont be finding any P. subbalteatus this late in the season, but, its worth a try... they grow in horse manure/stable cleanings/compost heaps.
