Watched this a long time ago.
There's so many people out there who shouldn't be parents. Don't have much else to say.

Are you trying to say someone in their 40's should not be doing ecstasy and going to raves? And/or are you saying that they should not be parents and bring their kids there and/or party with them? I agree with RB about some people should not be parents, but what are you/him saying here?
This is part of my problem when I do go to an event that I want to score some E at. I am twice the age of the majority of the people there. I have not been in a long time because of this. I am thinking of going to the deadmau5 concert here in D in a few weeks and I am really having trepidation about it.
P.S. I do not have kids, never did, and never want any.

i just watched that this week, and i totally thought mid life crisis when i watched it. it's one thing to take E, it's another to try and copy your 18 year old son completely.

I have no interest in dancing with light sticks, young people for sex, etc...I just completely enjoy the vibe and the drug/music. When an older person wants to just dig the scene they get these kinds of judgments, why?

Because of societies standards (partying for kids, business for adults). Not that I agree with it, people are just programmed to have the preconception.

well when you frost your tips and start wearing upside down sideways visors at 40 be prepared to be judged.

I watched this like 7 years ago on HBO. Very interesting stuff.
When my dad had a mid life crisis he bought a lake house and a boat. I'm glad he didn't go balls deep into the E/LSD rave scene.
Plus, I got to grow up with a lake house with a 50 ft long dock and a boat. In retrospect maybe he should have gone the E route, since I really fucked up my back the repeated years I was wakeboarding, slalom skiing and tubing.
-------------------- Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

I do nothing of the sort. It is ageism anyway for people to judge them for that. People are not truly the cool/nice people they say they are if they are judging/laughing at older people at these events. They are egotistical and judgmental.
I agree about the upside down visor thing, no one should do that at any age! LOL

i'm not saying you do, but the guy in the documentary is obviously having some type of midlife crisis when he is copying his teenage son in every aspect. i don't think people judge or laugh at people for being older or doing E, but when people like the guy in this doc show up trying to act like hes 18 still they are going to be judged dumbasses, walking around saying "yo dawg" to every 16 year old and buying E for his 13 year old. that is what makes him a dumbass, i know plenty of older people (60+) who do way more drugs than this guy and don't act a fool like him.

It's not the drugs that are wrong. Just his whole parenting method. Parents need to set examples.

Very true, I agree.
