I am none of those things.  Fuck L. Ron.  He is an idiot and an asshole.  If he was ONLY about ending stupid government over-reach that would be one thing.  But he isn't.  I've heard almost as much bullshit from him as I have from Obama/Reid/Pelosi.  Different bullshit but bullshit nonetheless

Congressman Paul was not advocating for banks "issuing their own scrip", he was talking about tossing out legal tender laws. 

Federal reserve monopoly money (monopoly in the sense that legal tender laws apply to it and therefore it is a state protected monopoly) is prone to significant inflationary pressures due to lack of monetary competition.  It therefore loses it's store of value and eventually does not function as a medium of exchange.  This has happened throughout history regardless of the fact that you turn a blind eye to such matters.


You were saying that there is no inflation?!?

That would be true if the government C.P.I. was not a blatant lie.
