I'm pretty sure he doesn't deserve a permanent ban
this is ridiculous. I don't even know what there really is to say about it. If you were friends with him you would know the absurdity of him being permanently banned from this community.

other than using a graemlin a bit much he is just fine. He is never malicious, and that is something that can't be said about a lot of members. He is a friend and a great person who wishes people well.

Well, I don't think anyone suggests he deserves a permanent ban for overusing graemlins or phrases.
As I recall, he made disruptive puppets (while his main account was temporarily banned), posted content-less posts in violation of forum rules, and continued to post nonsense to such an extent he managed to get himself banned from several subforums.
He was told many, many times what was acceptable and what was not, and he simply ignored it. That he made a puppet account to spam the boards while he was temporarily banned kinda cuts against your argument that he wasn't malicious.
He seems nice enough, but he's also pretty damn annoying.

hmm...bored and missing shroomery, but banned
making a puppet seems a likely temptation, and as I recall a number of people got amusement/laughter from his puppet. It may have been breaking a rule but it was more or less in good fun.  I got a kick out of it.
that is far different than people who make puppets just to harass people and say disagreeable things
In fact when I got to move back home after being evacuated and found he was banned, and I had lost his number etc, a PM from feelsgoodman saying really helped me to know that no matter how many times he gets banned for lame reasons,
well maybe you wouldn't understand
this whole thing is just...silly
so should I just know my role and not even consider that he will ever be unbanned?

If he were to send in a support ticket and be reasonable he might get the ban lifted, but he'd have to seem sincere in following the rules to convince the administration or the moderator that banned him to let him back in.
The only reason he's perma banned is he didn't follow the advice given to him in his many warnings, and when he finally started getting banned for a few days at a time, he just created another account and copy-pasted his 'slogan' over and over untill his puppet was banned. Kinda hard to see an innocent explanation for that.

I never said he was innocent...
but definitely nowhere near a shady enough character (he might annoy some with feelsgoodman, but he doesn't do much worse than that.)

I thought mods/admin were good enough people to already have unbanned him.
He's a good guy, worth the lulz and people keep making threads to unban him.
What did it take for you guys to unban Coaster the first time? One thread, a few  s?
Or are other people exempt from certain policies?
And "convincing the moderator who banned him". Yeah, that's gonna work.
