My dad says ther is stric-9 in part of it. Has anybody ever heard of this?

not even the little brisly "hairs" have strychnine in 'em....
but the tufts of "hair" may be mechanically irritating to the stomach lining...
and peyote does have alkaloids that are convulsants...

old enough to know better
