1 of the cakes of my 4 jars that just got completely colonized a day or two fell out in my hand when i picked up and was tampering/smelling for contams. The immediate thought that came to my mind was emergency/premature birth. I couldnt just throw the cake back in the jar. i washed off the verm on it and just submerged it back in its jar filled with water. Did I fuck up by not giving it it's consolidation week? Or do you think in 24 hours when i roll it and put it in the FC it'll be fine?

As long as the fall didn't hurt it'll be fine. It'll just sit for a week before it gets it fruit on

If you got to 100% then you will be fine.  Not waiting the consolidation
period will likely mean that you will wait longer for pins.

Well it wasn't really a fall. I didn't have the lid tightener thing on when it was upside down from where i flipped it, and as soon as i grabbed the jar, the cake just slid out on top of the lid.
