I've heard that a soft toothbrush works well, but I wouldn't know for sure. I defer to older and wiser voices in this arena.

BTW, what straing were these hypothetical screlotia grown from, and how long did they take from colonization to harvest. My friend just tracked down all the gear for growing some mexicana A strain, but only has 4 months to do it in. :frown:

He innoculated a filter patch bag on Jan. 21 and harvested april 21. Was very happy with results. Three months seems fine, but if you can wait longer do so. I think someone said they would continue to grow for up to 6 months.

Use a little water and a toothbrush. It's going to take a long time. It's tedious work, but worth it. I was up until 7:30 in the morning on sunday cleaning 4 stonebags. Took me 5 hours.
