you opened up a box brand new and no windows disk came with the computer? you got ripped off by piracy. I'd tell you to report it, but usually microsoft doesn't give a shit and will just make you buy a new one.
Anyway, can you get to windows in safe mode? if you can, before trying a repair, try download malware bytes, microsoft security essentials, and then c cleaner and using each one in that order in safe mode. I'm guessing since it's a brand new computer, you haven't actually put any important files on the desk top. Like I was asking, does it tell you you need to do a system repair before loading windows, like it blue screens? I'm guessing so, as that is usually the way.
sorry you got ripped off, because if that's the case you will need your windows 7 disk. and it'd be easier to just do a reinstallation then to do a repair. if I were you and I had 100,000 mil and could get a good lawyer no problem, I'd sue microsoft and the manufacturer of your computer for mental damages, etc. etc., sending you a computer without the windows 7 disk.
if you can find your windows 7 disk, then doing a repair is as easy as popping the disk in the cd drive, restarting the computer and holding f12 when it boots, selecting the cd drive as the boot device, then when the options load just chose repair or install. or sometimes you can chose install then there is a repair option, which should be no different then just going straight to the repair option. anyway make sense? try and return the computer if it's under warranty, no one should get a broken computer out of the box and not have the disk to repair the operating system. total bullshit, I really feel for you. good luck

Nope. A lot of manufacturers are no longer including restore media with their computers. The consumer is expected to burn restore media from included software before using the computer. There is often a 'recovery partition' as well that can be used, assuming it isn't lost, to restore the primary partition back to factory defaults.

lol yeah, microsoft is a company that will collect food stamps when they just won the lottery
Anything with a microsoft logo is taking every short cut av.
OP you can run a PC with Ubuntu for free, the only thing I've found with Ubuntu is that it forced me to learn a little about how computers run. You can run everything that you ran on windows with Ubuntu except photoshop. Everything including games too

got it, it's a lot different. Photoshop is such a massive program and people are used to it.
If you're a photoshop user you won't like Gimp just bc it's a new platform. My friend slug hates it but loves photoshop.

Me too. I'll never get used to Gimp's quirky (in my opinion) user interface.

Microsoft has Windows 7 up for download (except Ultimate, but you can use this):
Home Premium x86: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65732/X15-65732.iso Home Premium x64: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65733/X15-65733.iso
Professional x86: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65804/X15-65804.iso Professional x64: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65805/X15-65805.iso
If you're just using it to repair an install I don't think it matters what version you get as long as it's the for the same architecture (ie. 32 or 64 bits).

i have another question. can i use the computer still under some kinda safe mode and use the burner still to burn the w7 iso i downloaded?
if not would any one be willing to burn a w7 iso disc for me and send it?
i tryed to put like 3 burners into the old pc im using now and this computer wont allow me to burn a disc for some reason. i bought a external burner and it wouldnt work cause i dont have usb 2.0. i just returned it and got a internal one and it wont even read the drive now. this is just becoming imposable.

Good advice, Make sure you find the sticker on the computer that says what OS it is and what the product key is so you don't run into any snags when trying to activate it. I was installing an OS on remotely on a server at work and I chose the wrong version of the OS and had to reinstall the OS 2 hours wasted.
