newbster question
    #14758093 - 07/12/11 04:51 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

ok so this is my first grow. i used the brf tek with amazons(which by the way took 60 days to almost fully colonize) and i have a few questions. first is id like to have some opinions about when to start fruiting. i also have side pins growing and i dont want them to go bad in the jar before i actually start to fruit.

the bottom isnt completly done yet but do you think it will be ok to start fruiting?

you want to 4 oz

they colonize in less than half the time.

One cup = 8 oz
One Pint = 16 oz

Why people and the company that makes the jars insist on calling them "Half Pints" confuses me, its still a one cup jar any way you cut it. Basic PF Tek calls for "Half Pint" jars. I think you got the right jars, though 4 oz jars will colonize really fast.

That does still sound like a long time to colonize though. Might double check your temps and GE. Make sure both are good.
