Can those of you with ultrasonics tell me how much current they use?

I have a cool mist humidifier. 120V 1 amp. Not sure if this is same as ultrasonic!! Hope this helps.

They're not. A Cool Mist Humidifer uses an impeller to stir up the water into a mist. An ultrasonic uses a hot plate to heat the water to a vapor.

No, an ultrasonic uses sound waves to liberate the water into the air. To the OP, it's going to depend on the model. I would suspect all will be under 1 amp in draw, so that would be roughly 120 watts or less. RR
