Is this anything to worry about?
    #14755849 - 07/12/11 08:51 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Just starting to pin and I noticed a spot of grey/green and a wet yellowy blotch.  It would bite if I got contam in the home stretch.  Take a look below.  Is it bad?  Is this batch of pins doomed?  Anything I can do at this point?  Thanks.

EDIT: problem with pics.  Will reload shortly.

I wish the stupid pics would load so you could see for yourself.  It's just two specks and the pan is full of pins. I'll keep an eye on it and try to get some pics up later.

Can't really say anything until the pics are up. But hopefully what you are looking at is the myc bruising HOPEFULLY. If it is obviously green then I would be worried. You don't want it spreading. Kinda hard to get a contam on healthy myc is why I am thinking it is bruising. I am quite new at all of this still. After these 24jars of cubes I have now I will be switching over to oysters an shiitakes.

That's why I'm thinking that if it is anything it's just a surface thing that I could manage with a spray of H2O2.  Let me try pics again.

Okay, seems the pic issue is browser related.  (Was using Chrome, now on IE)  Here are the pics

These are the only two spots I can find.  No odd smells to be found either.  Could be nothing but need more experienced eyes to verify.  Would this be a case where some H2O2 is called for?
