Anyone seen this weird indy flick?

I didn't understand the ending at all until I read the philosophy of the movie.

So it's kind of like an indy version of the Matrix and Terminator 2 time travel but on a budget.  They used the money well.

I give it an 8/10

I seen it. I thought the shadow type people were symbolizing karma/emotion. Good movie.

Watch The Movie Then Read This.

It's streaming on Netflix but the people who made the movie made it easily available to watch online.

i really liked this movie.

you can definitely see the cracks where they saved cash (acting, audio, some props, etc). IIRC they spent something like 18 months in post production though.. you can really tell. they definitely have a lot of visual talent.

Oh yeah, they were obviously on a tight budget.  That's kind of why this movie was cool in the style.  They didn't have much money on location so they just mixed up the lighting into extremes.  That looked really cool.

I saw this movie a couple of months back, and I still remember it vividly. I was really impressed by the storytelling, and let me say that among the big blockbuster pop-corn movies you see in theaters our days, watching a movie like this feels extremely refreshing.

The low-budget did not hurt this movie at all, in fact I agree with others to say that it helped  to give this movie his own style and charm. Think of it as a fairytale but for grown-ups, mostly. The characters are all great and the plot evolves in a very interesting way. Hell, there are even some thrilling action scenes.

All in all, I recommend this movie to anyone who is capable of enjoying an indie flick. They are the best movies, as far as I'm concerned. Take a risk, you won't regret it with this one.

^ Agreed.

Saw this a couple of months ago as well, randomly selected it on Netflix and didn't really know what to expect, but was unexpectedly fucking BLOWN away. This movie was phenomenal. I felt like it was taking me into the depths of existence. There are very few movies I can say that about. So glad a thread was made about it. :awesome:

It makes you question existence and your place in life which is refreshing in a movie.  And fuck!  It will make you cry too.

It's a movie that's a lot better on drugs.
