I'm having someone prepare me a huge does of bridgesii...I want to drive out into the dark, dank new mexico desert, and sit in thunderstorms, and then look at the fucking milky way after the normal monsoon moisture clears out in early morning....
Just love on nature and trip out with both the violence of nature--the storms--and the passivity of nature, the glowing milky way on a clear summer night....

If that means going out into the desert, maybe camping by a stream, catching some trout, eating a bunch of cactus, and smoking rips of herb until I am in another universe, then desert frying is a win...

That sounds like an absolute blast. Unfortunately I'm a long, long ways away from any desert. Or any decent dark sky for that matter...

i learned long ago that adventures are not for me. just to say, you should not rush into it though, make proper preparations and go in with a clear head.

My last desert trip ended with the slow death of a San Pedro cutting that I angrily tossed into the thorny droppings of these prickly fuckers. What a strange day and wacky trip!
