chretien has been doing alot of good lately, he pushed through a bill that makes it illegal for politicians to get any private money for campaign financing.

Canada's Prime Minister drinking it up with some Canadian Athletes.
A witness described Chr?tien as a "drunk old man."
It's reported that the PM down seven beer in less than ten minutes.

Hey if he turns his act around now, whats wrong with that? Its a good thing.

Its never too late to redeem yourself, especially if you are a politician!

I think you will miss Chretien when he's gone Psilocybeingzz. Who's goona replace him? Paul Martin or John Manley? Or Sheila Copps?

It just gets worse from there.

Yeah, Chretien sucks but, he don't suck as bad as who they really want to put in there. I'm scared of that. All these loonies like Steven Harper make Chretien look like a God.

We just may long for the good ol' days when Chretien ran the country. Kind of like a lot of people long for the good ol' days when Trudeau ran the country.

The good ole days? LOL! Trudeau was an ivory tower socialist dilettante who destroyed the Canadian economy and completely mishandled virtually everything he touched, not the least of which was the Quebec situation. He was without a doubt the worst Prime Minister my poor ex-country was ever saddled with.

Dream on, comrade.

Well, he wasn't without his enemies...

Mishandled Quebec? He won the seperatist referendum, he enshrined french language rights throughout Canada. It's probably cuz of his efforts that I attended a french immersion elementary school.

Yah, far-right individualists and xenophobe french haters didn't like him, neither did American war-mongers, as he eased entrance for American's fleeing Vietnam service.

'Why should I care what the idiots in the pentagon think' (actual quote)

My uncle, who displays an American flag in his window to show his support for USA and their war(s) doesn't like him either. I get to hear all about it every christmas...
