Storing drugs in a safe

My apologies if this has been asked, I could not find anything using the search.
I live in Canada and was wondering if anyone knew how much protection storing drugs in a safe is. Obviously it will prevent against a random cop coming in and seeing stuff, however I also know it won't do shit if they have a search warrant.
Should I potentially have two safes, one for drugs that can be smelled by dogs (weed, m, etc) and one for ones which cannot (acid, etc?)

I have a huge kick ass safe in my basement.
I once a few years ago did have the police come to my house with a search warrant.
When the police detective asked me for the combination, I complied and told him what it was. I knew at the time the safe was completely empty. So it was in my best interest to comply. (i knew i can always change the combination once he left)
However, had there had been anything whatsoever in that safe, I would have simply told him that I was not able to open the safe, it was not my safe, and I was storing it for a friend.
That way, even if the dick did manage to go through all the trouble of calling in a locksmith and breaching the safe-lock, there would have been a good defense on my part, because I could claim that I had not clue what was in the safe, because I had no access to it. But in this case, I knew the safe was completely empty except for a doughnut.
In the above mentioned case, I was tipped off that the police were going to be paying me a house call, so I had time to make everything clean.
Having a safe is always a good thing.
I prefer those combination locks rather than a key. Keys can be found.

After serving time with a guy who tried to play dumb about a safe. I can guarantee that defense will NEVER work

I agree with that. I even wrote out a nice long post about it, said fuck it and deleted it.
I highly doubt that would work.

I can easily relate that ....it might be a very lamb defense that will not hold much water, however, a very lame defense is better than no defense at all.
The reason I would advocate having a safe, is so that your friends or friends of friends don't rip you off.
Law enforcement, I just view them as a organization of thugs that are just out to extort you for your money, they con it away with bureaucracy. When you pay twenty-five thousand dollars to pay a legal bill so that you can beat the charge, you smile and feel happy that you won! but still wonder why your asshole is awful sore
Most of the losses that I have witnessed folks to wade in the land of grow ops etc tend to be getting ripped off by their so called buddies or friends of buddies.

Get a place with an upstairs make sure there is a bathroom up there also, keep your shit in the bathroom. Get a toilet with a turbo flusher like on air planes.
By the time they get up the stairs your shit is gone for good.
If they break down the doors they'll take a while looking for bullets flying their way
Safes are though, the insides of the 5k+ ones are like a ring case

I was thinking of storing acid in a cut away book. Would this be effective? Perhaps a tiny safe in a cut away booK?

If you do that don't put it in "DMT Spirit Molecule". I'd go with Green Eggs n Ham myself.

I use the Holy Bible for a cutout book. It has a leather strap / clasp around it so it won't open and have items fall out if the area is ever searched through.

Never been searched before, good thing to because Iv had a good bit in the past. Now all I have is some culture tubes. How thorough are their searches, think I could get away with hiding my cult tubes in an electrical socket or something in case my past somehow manages to catch up with me. Only problem is the culture tubes wont be refrigerated, but I wont be here again for a year and they are all I have to start my shit up again when I get back

Distilled water cultures are able to be kept in room temperature for years. They do get pretty thorough though... I would put them in two baggies and bury them in the woods if you're THAT paranoid.

You'd be surprised what survives in a sealed and buried lockbox.
Stick a few sporeprints in a photo album...?

You're an idiot. I've been reading your posts for a while. Nobody listen to this fool on matters of security and safety.

I was watching an Australian cop show yesterday. The cops were going through this Vietnamese heroin dealer's house, literally opening everything. CD players, Speakers you name it. Eventually they found his stash cut into the top edge of a door.
