Usually, I take pics such as this with this setup:

I decided to try some macro photos from across the room not knowing what to expect and it worked! I was afraid that the focuser didn't have enough travel for such a close object but I was pleasantly surprised with the results

Here's a pic of the beast that was on the business end of the camera...

That piece of glass is 5-inches across! Yeah, I got other interests besides Shroomz, but I gotta admit that the little guys are really just about the most fun thing I have gotten involved with in a long time

So, any requests as far as pics go concerning this fateful jar of mycelium? I'll be keeping up to date with it as the days go on and, of course, after it hits the terrarium
